Ludwing Mies Van der Rohe

Known as the "Barcelona Chair" today, Barcelona Ottoman had originally been designed by Mies van der Rohe for the Deutscher Werkbund Pavilion at the Barcelona World Exposition in 1929.

They were meant to be used by the King and Queen of Spain on occasion of their official visit to the exposition. The original version was covered with white pig leather. Though it has a "machine made" appearance it is almost 100% hand laboured.The frames are made of massive suspension steel.

Our Barcelona Ottoman is the preminum reproduction, with extremely same as the original in each espact. The upper is the pictures to show you these.
