The Eames Walnut Stool Designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller,Charles and Ray Eames first designed the Eames stools in 1960 for the lobby of the Time Life Building in New York City, but they soon became popular products and with time, one of the more charming classics of modern design.
Eames created the Eames walnut stools, which became her favorite seats and were scattered all over the Pacific Palisades home she shared with Charles. The Eames stools are solid walnut and the center section of the stool comes in three distinctively sculpted profiles. The top surface and the smaller bottom surface are both concave.
